Sunwin Charging Resistor
Pre-charging resistors are often used in specific aspects such as electronic devices, batteries, and inverters. For different devices, the working methods are not exactly the same, but the purpose is to avoid the large current of the charging power supply at the beginning of charging from causing possible damage or damage to the device.

The general working process is: before charging, the pre-charging circuit is connected, and the current is limited to a controllable range through the pre-charging resistor by current limiting, shunting, or other methods (such as connecting a strong impedance to a certain phase when three-phase electricity is completed). After the work is completed, the charging circuit is cut off (or short-circuited) to isolate the pre-charging resistor, so that the system returns to normal working state. As a protective measure, the pre-charging circuit is a common configuration in the locomotive converter, but the parameter design of the pre-charging circuit, especially the pre-charging resistor, is one of the important links in the electrical design of the traction converter.
